A convenient location where you might be enjoying the rest of your downtown experience. Parking is limited downtown but the hotels and restaurants have parking or valet for THEIR guest. If you are only planning a carriage tour then one of the paid parking lot locations would be best. There is some free parking in the area but be sure it is a city meter or check signs in the area to be sure your car will still there when you get back. Real parking agents and valets have uniforms and receipts.

Know what you want to see along the tour. Starting from the location requested, remember that the horse walks about four miles per hour. Your tour will return where you boarded unless you requested a different location however that may affect the cost of the tour.

Have a budget in mind so when booking the tour you will be told your options as to what direction you will be heading and which attractions you will be seeing downtown.

Make a reservation a day or longer in advance so that you will get the boarding time you request. You do have up to 2 hours before your boarding time to make a time change (when available) or cancellation to avoid paying ANYTHING for the ride. In the event of rainy weather last minute cancellations are excepted. Should we be unable to provide you service due to unforeseen problems or rainy weather we would notify you as soon as possible so that you may adjust your plans and of course you would not be charged anything.
