Vis-A-Vis
An elegant white Victorian reproduction called a Vis-A-Vis. French for "face to
face". In its era, it would have a servant driver and footman. The footman would to
do chores off the carriage - such as fetching an item so that the master could remain
comfortably seated. The footman would always assist the master and mistress when entering
and exiting the carriage. Having the lesser job he would also be responsible for holding
the horses so the driver could depart the rig.
Seating for Six
There is seating for up to six average adults. A soft- top is available for protection
from light rain or the harsh Texas sun. You are transported at a reasonable speed of
up to 4 miles per hour. Austin Carriage Service has the newest, most elegant carriages
