About Austin Carriage Service
Austin Carriage Service has been in Austin for more than 10 years. The
"Boggy Bottom Farm" is home to our horses. We use a 6-acre tree covered turn-out
run for the boys when they are not working. Individual 1-acre runs are available when
needed. There is 3600 square feet of barn space for those days when it is too nasty to be
outside. The barn has private 14'X16' box stalls for feeding time and when one might need
privacy. The stalls connect to a large 50'X60' covered area for group company. All pasture
turn-outs and group areas have free choice hay and water for the boys at all times.
Cherie Cunningham, owner, has over 40 years of
experience with horses. She has shown in driving and saddle events to win several state
and national titles. She has excelled in breaking and training horses for driving, riding
and trick performances. With 8 years of experience as a veterinary tech, the horses are
guaranteed the best care. Her husband, George Cunningham specializes in the maintenance of
the farm. He handles the feeding and daily care of the horses.
Most of our drivers have been with our company from 3-9 years. They are very competent
and well informed as to the specifications of your needs.
